Fun For the Whole Family! The Tahoe Trout Farm has been around since 1946 and was owned by the Upham’s and thus was called Upham’s Pond. It has lasted through several owners; Marion Drury operated it for twenty-two years and Jim Vallier, who fished the Trout Farm in the 1950’s, became the new owner four years ago. Located at 1023 Blue Lake Ave, off of Hwy 50 across from Meek’s Lumber, it borders Trout Creek and Johnson Meadow. The two ponds are fed fresh well water continually aerating the pools which provide a clean environment that trout demand for healthy living.

The small pond is stocked with larger trophy trout. Your experience at The Tahoe Trout Farm is “Old Tahoe” and a must see for kids and adults alike. The views of Heavenly, Freel Peak and Jobs Peak are stunning. If you’re lucky while you’re fishing, you may see a coyote or bear walking through the meadow. This is the only Trout Farm in Lake Tahoe and is stocked with rainbows. Call (530) 541-1491 for more information. Check out our web site, Yelp ratings and TripAdvisor.
